Fishing Reports

It looks like we may have finally turned the corner with warmer weather on the way, which means it’s time to hit the local beaches or your favorite lowland lake.  Some likely spots for chasing resident blackmouth and sea run cutthroat are:

  • Agate Pass bridge – both sides can hold fish, Bainbridge side has an easier access than the casino side
  • Eglon beach – the tide flat to the north is a good location for sea runs
  • Point no Point – look for bait balls and birds
  • Twin Spits
  • Lytle Beach

Some of the favorite local lakes to try:

  • Cady lake
  • Gibbs lake
  • Teal lake

With all these options, there should be no excuse not to get out and wet a line.

Hello, Bainbridge Island Fly Fishers,
I take the photos and shoot video and paint the illustrations for my husband’s (Skip Morris) books, videos, and magazine articles. I present a Powerpoint show on photography for fly fishers, a show I’ve presented at clubs and fly events across thew US and canada. I’d like to send you some information on my Powerpoint show in case you might be interested in having me speak for your club. Would you please provide me an e-mail (or physical) address so I can send that information to your club?
Sincerely, Carol Ann Morris (carolann@cablespeed.com)
